Tony Locke - Photography

Living in the Pacific Northwest, we are blessed to be surrounded by so much natural beauty creating an inspirational palette of colorful scenery.  This  is a collection of those images as seen thru my eyes.  Since these breathtaking landscapes so easily grab your attention, creating scenes that  are perfect for my form of Fine Art Photography.  As I've always enjoyed exploring the outdoors with long hikes in the mountains, photographing these landscapes became a natural extension.

The Skagit Valley and San Juan Islands are where I live, work & play. We are surrounded by awe-inspiring landscapes, valley upon valley of floral art, and an abundance of wildlife, all just waiting for the magic of the photograph to capture it's beauty - No wonder these are some of the most photographed places in the Pacific Northwest

My current camera is the Canon 20D - a semi-pro DSLR. My main lens includes the excellent 17-40mm F4L wide angle lens and 28-135mm F5.6 medium telephoto lens, and some fun toys such as the Lensbaby 3's unique 'selective-focus' and a 50mm F2.5 macro with 3-set extension tubes and 3-set of diopter lens for those up-close and personal shots of those odd abstracts or that bug's little smiling face.

Below is examples from my gallery.
